Three years ago, I ran in the National Race to End Women's Cancer with my brother-in-law, Ben, and my sister-in-law, Trina. It was a great and gratifying experience. I ran with a sign on my back -- an honor of loved ones that was created by me and my friends to honor women who have had women's gyn cancers. And together, you, me and lots of others, we raised over $10,000.
Last year, when #Run4Her became #Move4Her, we had even more fun, creating a team of 16 people from around the US.
I am so excited to have Team Lynch Syndrome back for 2021! Again this year, #Move4Her is a virtual event that allows you to join a team, financially support research into women's cancers and move wherever you are and however you wish on September 26 in honor of those you know and love.
Please join us! If you sign up before July 1, the 2021 registration fee includes an even better goody box than last year -- and last year's was really good!
Please join Team Lynch Syndrome, moving to honor women with Lynch Syndrome, a genetic condition which often results in a very high likelihood of developing endometrial and ovarian cancers.
So, please consider spending the $30 to sign up before July 1 and #Move4Her on September 26.
Thank you so very much!
Proceeds from #Move4Her benefit the Foundation for Women's Cancer (FWC), an organization close to my heart. The FWC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting research, education, and public awareness of gynecologic cancers - cervical, ovarian, uterine/endometrial, vaginal and vulvar cancer. Together, we're striving to #EndWomensCancer and #Move4Her.
